Managing Director, Technical Expert
Degree in Electrical Engineering (M.Sc.). More than 15 years of experience in expert assessment work. Core areas: photovoltaic systems, wind turbines, switchgear and transformer stations, overvoltage and lightning damage, technical fire origin determination, grid technology and electronics testing. Extensive practice in the assessment of technical damage to systems across all voltage levels for insurance companies and industrial clients.

Degree in Electrical Engineering (B.Eng.), Master in Energy Management near completion. 9 years of experience in expert assessment work. Core areas: photovoltaic systems, battery storage systems, overvoltage and lightning damage, technical fire origin determination, liability claims and product liability. Practice in the assessment of technical damage for insurance companies and industrial clients.

The managing directors of IGO REC are Louis Opp and Anatoliy Dobroshynskyy. Depending on the case, we bring in experts from the sister companies. These people are not employed by IGO REC, they work for the company named on their card. The mandate stays with IGO REC and the additional expertise comes from the group.

Team-based approach
Every damage case is discussed, analysed and evaluated as a team. The different technical backgrounds mean that cases are examined from multiple perspectives. This process is not an optional step but a fixed part of every analysis. It contributes directly to the reliability of our results.

IGO REC belongs to the IGO Group. Three legally independent companies, each with its own mandates and accounting, connected by a shared technical base. Every company runs its own cases and draws on the expertise of the others where required.

The IGO Group operates its own X-ray laboratory for the examination of electronics and materials.

High-resolution thermal imaging cameras for fault detection on PV modules, strings, inverters and electrical installations.
Mobility and area of operation
Our area of operation covers all of Germany, other European countries and, where required, international damage sites. The working languages of IGO REC are German and English. We also cover Russian and Ukrainian. Through the IGO Group, direct communication is available in French and Arabic.
Our company vehicles are predominantly electric. They are charged via an in-house photovoltaic system with integrated energy storage. A large share of our on-site inspections is therefore powered by self-generated energy.
